Sleep Apnea
A significant part of our life is spent in sleep. A good refreshing sleep is and indicator of good health. If despite a night full sleep, one feels lethargic, tired and sleepy all day he /she should be alerted. The quality and quantity of sleep is disturbed in many conditions of the body and mind. One such secret condition may be associated with snoring.
Snoring is very common conditions that occurs when the muscles of our windpipe get relaxed during the sleep, losing its tone and lumen. This produces the characteristic sound. Snoring is an indication of deep sleep yes, but it also can interrupt sleep obstructing pathways of air for breathing.
Snoring may be harmless if it is not obstructing the air flow significantly but in many situations air obstruction becomes life threatening.
